Throughout the group's history,
several events were captured on film and video. These include
Super 8 home movies from Halloween 1978 and the group's second
concert on December 10, 1978, their 1979 movie KISS and the
Mad Scientist, and footage from Halloween 1983.
Additional recordings include behind-the-scenes footage from
the preparations for their December 3, 1986, music video, along
with the video shoot itself.
Some of these recordings can be viewed here, and additional
footage will be added as it becomes available in digital format.

For Halloween 1978, the group
recreated KISS' Love Gun costumes and was a big hit at
the Patterson Elementary School Halloween Carnival.
Super 8 movie footage captured several moments from that
evening, including the group getting ready, a stop at
Jack's house, and their appearance at the school carnival.
The lineup featured Paul Alberts as Peter Criss, Joey
Capelli as Ace Frehley, Troy Correia as Gene Simmons,
and Jack Standish as Paul Stanley. Their police bodyguards
were Greg Garro and William Robertson. |

On December 10, 1978, the
group performed their second lip-sync concert before an
audience of approximately 80 people in Jack's backyard.
For the nearly hour-long performance, the group recreated
KISS' Love Gun stage, complete with dry ice fog, Joey's
smoking guitar, Troy spitting fire and blood, fireworks,
and Jack smashing his guitar.
Nearly three minutes of Super 8 movie footage captured
highlights from the concert.
The lineup featured Joey Capelli as Ace Frehley, Troy
Correia as Gene Simmons, Greg Garro as Peter Criss, and
Jack Standish as Paul Stanley. |
